What are evaporative cannons?
Evaporative cannons, also known as mist cannons, are devices designed to disperse fine droplets of water in the form of mist, creating a barrier that captures dust in the air and causes it to fall to the ground without wetting the working environment.
Their structure is based on a conical tube equipped with a fan inside and a series of water sprayers at the outlet. The result is a cloud of microdroplets that, upon contact with airborne particles, trap them and reduce their spread.
Why use mist cannons in the port sector?
