In 2017, the avocado drying line was manufactured in Mexico.
This system was composed of a combustion oven of 3,000,000 kcal/h. and a trommel of 2.25 meters in diameter and 20 meters long with a product input of 4.3 tn/h with a humidity of 75% being able to dry 10% evaporating 3,106 liters of water/hour and obtaining 1.19 tn/h of dry product.
It also had a mixer for the perfect homogenization of the product and a series of hoppers. On the one hand, a wet hopper of 3,000 x 2,500 mm of upper mouth, 600 x 600 mm of lower mouth, with an inverted pyramidal trunk height of 2,000 mm. for a useful capacity of 5 m3. On the other hand, a fuel reception and storage hopper with a 3,000 x 2,000 mm. upper mouth, 750 mm. straight and 1,750 mm. conical trunk height, and with a 2,500 x 700 mm. outlet mouth, to be fed by truck.
Finally, it had a set of endless spirals and several conveyor belts to enable product transport.
