In 2019, a 50-meter-long ecological clinker conveyor belt is manufactured and installed in the port of Malaga.
This is one of the first experiences of ecological loading of clinker to ship in Spain and Europe, and the first with a tailor-made solution. The belt, which is completely enclosed and has a vacuum system that eliminates the generation of dust in the environment, transports the clinker from the quay, where the trucks unload onto the chain feeders installed on both sides of it, to the ship's hold thanks to a telescopic chute.
Recovered the movement of this product with which Portland cement was manufactured thanks to the partnership between the consignee agency Servimad Global and Sociedad Financiera y Minera (FYM), the Malaga port resumes an export that had been paralyzed since December 2018.
This ecological belt was specially designed for the Malaga port, with the intention of minimizing the environmental impact during ship loading activities.
