On this occasion, we have designed and manufactured two conveyor belts for the Port of Sagunto (Valencia). At Espirales CHIA, we always focus on optimizing ship loading, providing customized machinery to achieve the fastest possible loading. Our loading equipment for solid bulk cargo is highly versatile and adaptable, always adapting to the loading method of the facility. In addition, our loading conveyors are effective for any type of product or ship, as they allow us to adjust to their length and height above the quay wall.
The project carried out for NOATUM, a leading multinational group in comprehensive transport and logistics services, consists of two conveyor belts 33 meters long and 1,200 mm wide for loading granular fertilizer. Each belt is designed to be coupled to a chain feeder, which allows goods to be loaded and unloaded directly onto the conveyor, enabling one or two trucks to be maneuvered simultaneously. It also evenly doses the subsequent material handling processes, ensuring continuous product dosing without interrupting the flow. This is particularly useful when absolute control of the volume of the product to be processed is required.
The conveyor belts have a 360º rotating chute at the head, controlled by remote control, which facilitates the distribution of material in the ship's hold.
