In 2016 we carried out the manufacture of an alperujo drying line for Viana (Navarra). This drying line was composed of a combustion Oven of 8,000,000 kcal/h, a trommel of 3 meters in diameter and 24 meters long with a product input of 10 tn/h with a humidity of 70% and capacity to dry 10%, evaporating 6,667 liters of water/hour, obtaining 3.33 tn/h of dry product.
It also had a mixer for perfect homogenization of the product. As for the hoppers, we manufactured a wet hopper of 3,800 x 2,400 mm of upper mouth and 600 x 600 mm of lower mouth, with round transformation for auger connection, with an inverted pyramidal trunk height of 2,000 mm and a second hopper for reception and storage of fuel with upper mouth of 4,000 x 2,000 mm, 750 mm of straight height and truncated cone of 1,750 mm, and with an outlet mouth of 2,500 x 700 mm, to be fed by means of a truck.
Another of its components was a 75 hp stoner with a production of 20,000 kg/h of wet pomace input. The support beds were made of carbon steel, the main body was completely made of AISI-304L stainless steel plate and the blades were filled with tungsten to avoid premature wear. Finally, we mention the set of endless spirals and several belts used for product conveying.
